We are very pleased to invite you to this experience sharing session focused on supporting vulnerable households to reconstruct. During the last meeting of HRRP's Vulnerable Support Working Group (VSWG) on 2 July, it was agreed that there is a need to bring together the experiences of partners that have field experience in this area to guide scale up of this support. This session will provide an opportunity to learn what worked well, what hasn't worked well, and what should be considered moving forward.
The following organisations will be presenting during the session:
- Save the Children
- CARE Nepal
- Swiss Contact
- Feminist Dalit Organisation (FEDO)
Following the presentations there will be plenty of time for questions and discussions. It is hoped that the session will result in a useful summary document that can contribute to roll out of effective support to vulnerable households, at scale.
- This session will provide an opportunity to learn what worked well, what hasn't worked well, and what should be considered moving forward.
- This will be an opportunity for reconstruction actors that are planning to start, and / or scale up, support to vulnerable households with an opportunity to learn from the experience of others.
- We hope that it will contribute to developing a guidance document for a common approach that will make efforts in this area as effective as possible.
We look forward to seeing you there!
