Call for sector-wide consultation on the Urban Competency Framework
Published     01 October, 2018

RedR UK is producing an Urban Competency Framework (UCF) for humanitarian action. The UCF is produced through funding provided to the International Rescue Committee from EU Humanitarian Aid (ECHO). It is part of a wider project for the Global Alliance for Urban Crises (GAUC) entitled ‘Developing the skills to meet the needs of urban populations in crises through the alliance of urban responders’.

Thanks to the work of expert consultants, Emily Fereday and Kate Denman, and to the valuable contribution of a committed group of urban sector experts who inputted into the first draft (V1) of the UCF, we are now pleased to share the second draft (V2). We would now like to invite other experts in the sector to take part in this consultation process, which will inform the final UCF.
