Nepal Red Cross Society (NRCS) Event, 25 April: the event started with an exhibition covering each of the components of the NRCS Earthquake Response Operation (ERO); shelter, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), health, livelihoods, and institutional capacity building. The exhibition was followed by a formal stakeholder meeting where the head of the ERO presented an update on the progress under each component, as well as on thematic areas including Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) and Community Engagement and Accountability (CEA). The stakeholder meeting also included a screening of a documentary on NRCS activities. During the meeting, the Head of IFRC stated that the Red Cross Movement is now transitioning from the final phase of earthquake recovery and reconstruction to sustainable long term development programming. The exhibition and meeting was attended by various Red Cross Movement partners, government officials, and I/NGO representatives
